Yep, I find it easier to drop the center section but others replace from the ends.
If doing it from the ends will it need realigned?

Most words of wisdom come from wtf mistakes. I didn’t know to transfer the tone rings on mine and went straight out to run a half mile. Got the abs light quickly but thought so what. I don’t need no stink’n abs in a straight line half mile. Apparently the nanny did because I got to experience what it’s like to go into limp mode at 150 mph. 😝

If doing it from the ends will it need realigned?

The only adjustment on the stock IRS is the toe, leave the toe link alone and no alignment needed. Now if you have the adjustable links, as long the parts are just unbolted and re installed there should be no issue.

I broke a stock half shaft at MSHS in November 2016, Aric from Injected replaced from the tire end (quickly) with jack stands.

Looks like a great build but man I see a rear diff begging for mercy pretty quick.

I did a video on the axle install on the old car. Been years ago but I did it through the knuckles. Hellcat is probably pretty similar.
