Tommy is a self made man. The only negative I have about him is he is a Yankees fan. Being born in ny and living my first 12 yrs. there I was a devoted Mets fan. I forgive him though.
Talked to SRT AutoWorks today and the next dyno session will be next Friday at 9am. Gonna be about 75-80 degrees or so. I’m not worried to much about it with the ice box.
Yes it did hit the dyno and after 1 pull more slippage 🙄. So I e-mailed magnuson no response yet. Then I called Grip Tech because I bought the 3.0 pulley from them. They were great! I was on the phone for almost an hour with Andrew their tech guy. He seems to think that my pulley’s are out of alignment including the lower 10% witch can cause belt slippage. So Andrew highly recommended to buy the Dayco laser alignment kit to see if that’s causing the belt slippage. Laser kit will be at the shop next week. Now if they are all in alignment Grip tech offered to make some custom pulley’s for me.
Andrew seemed pretty confident that the pulley’s are out of alignment so we shall see.
We were thinking that the 3.0 was maybe to small of a pulley to cause the slippage at my power level but Andrew didn’t seem to think so. He says plenty oh Hellcats pushing 1000hp with the 3.0 and no slippage.

yes the alignment was off when we put everything back together one time. the belt kept jumping a rib.
I also had some belt slip periodically even during other times. The supercharger tensioner, I cranked that sucker over real good. The stock tensioner is also super tight, with not a ton of wiggle room. Hold that damn belt in place especially if your boosting it allot and it’s spinning real good.
