Which car? I have never doubted work from @hellno Just that I would need to reach out to people that have his transmissions and race with them. Also @vortecd I will not discuss who I am talking to at the moment. Everyone has to do their own research, it is highly subjective who to go with transmission wise. I may value company X where someone else may think they are trash. Trust me when I wire the money over and send out the trans, you’ll all know.

You contact Dave, You taking your transmission he’ll rebuild it right in front of you and you could take it home the same day possibly, I know his trans are in a few mid 8 second cars I know of and holding up well including his own car, his price is usually right as well.

Dave's awesome. He just showed up to Beech Bend and was hanging out and racing with us. Next thing I know he's sitting next to us at the bar of Smokey Bones in Bowling Green, pulls out his laptop and we're looking at data logs over a beer. Good dude. He's gotten to big time to hang out with me anymore

There are many great vendors for transmissions on the forums. I went with Pure as they seemed very eager to help me with my program once I have them a full word doc with my mods 😂
They even had their tuners look at my logs to see what was causing the sensors to misalign. I have started to look at flex plates, if anyone has a recommendation please let me know. Also the convertor is being upgraded. 3k stall. Time to install the two step… 😂

Definitely interested in your results with the higher stall tq converter.

Status update, not going well. Freight shipping has been a big fucking hassle. Never use TFORCE FREIGHT ever. I'm just ready to give up and put the car on blocks and start parting it out.

You should have just put the trans in the back of your truck and drove it to Memphis, spent s night there and picked up your trans and drive it back home on day 3, you’d be putting it back in already. The tear down and rebuild does not take that long when done by a pro like Dave, I’ve watched the process. With all parts on hand and laid out it’s about 6 hours. Could have put a billet drum in there and improved clutch packs. My buddies cat is running 8.5’s on his trans in the 160’s with 1.2 60 fts.
Sorry to hear your pain though, SUCKS to be down for sure.

Invoice paid, trans rebuilt. I now have a 3k stall and some work to do on installing the two step. Bigger tires have been mounted as well, 275/60R15 can get fucked. Won't be able to run the 275 classes but then again it is a weird science that I will never understand, how they ever get those cars to hook. Unfortunately my installer is having issues with lease/building owner and I need to have my hellcat towed back to my house tomorrow temporarily. Also why the car is being fucked with new sfi plate and new bolts as well, @HighHorseman for the win this weekend!

Trans will be delivered Monday and installed that night. While the car is on the lift gonna do additional work. Got some goodies. @16GoManGoHC2 real world tests soon.

Also doing the SFI flex plate as well.

no more zf fluid for me, stock cooler and lines have been cleaned out.
Came in a nice crate too

We put it in tomorrow night and give it some gentle 500 miles to break it in
