And what about the rears?

There is much more to this story.
Rears we machined the rotors and kept the original brembo pads no problems.

You put the same pads back on a freshly machined rotor, or new pads?

For the front 2 discs burnt exactly the same left and right and all 4 front red brake pads cracked. Exactly the same way

Besides the images I posted above along with the conditions I indicated, I've also driven these cars to the point of complete brake fade, and mind you, I did that with a premium DOT-4 fluid too.

This was a botched job in some way, and HAD to be apparent immediately as the car was first driven.

There would have been sound, and drag, enough drag to dramatically slow the car down on throttle lift, which would have been immediately apparent and should have caused an immediate investigation into the problem (like in the first 100ft, not miles)

I've had my calipers off and on more times than nearly anyone, I suspect if those bolts failed, they failed at install, not during driving. Either loose, or somehow WAY too tight. Like I said. 120-130lbft on the caliper bolts with red loc-tite.

If the bolts weren't torqued and came loose, that too should have been apparent, the thread engagement is long enough that the calipers would have given indications long before the bolts fell out, but you said they broke.

Did they shear? This might be an indication of grotesque over-torquing, which I could see causing a catastrophic failure at speed, but this still points to the shop, not the pads.

yes one broke before the other and had given an indicator but i was driving back to shop to fix this.
its my mistake to drive the car with that clunk sound i didnt knew 1 bolt of the caliper got broken already

OK, a guess, so if the bolts were over-torqued, the OP drives HARD, causing a shit-ton of heat, the calipers get HOT, the thermal expansion of the aluminum calipers causes the bolts to pop, while at speed, then its a ride.

@DGatzby is right, post up pics of the bolts, if we can see grain structure and a clear sign of a failure mode, we can get to the heart of this.

Bolts were not over-torqued they torqued it exactly how you said with red loctile .... i didnt brake hard and even if i do its not possible to heat like that in the first 100miles isnt it ?

and how its possible all the 4 brake pads got defective as the same way guys ?

yes correct in Turkey i ordered the parts from Rockauto tho.. usually they are good i ordered many parts before from them. but Brembo i dont know about them

The video I posted above, where the rotor is glowing red, that's just a bit over TWO miles, and roughly 1.8 million joules.

Imagine the energy that 700 horsepower can generate in 100 miles if you try...

I still want to see those bolts, they will tell us a lot.

Was someone driving while resting their left foot on the brake pedal the entire time? Car has enough power to overcome light brake pressure, so maybe its pilot error?

Yep, looks to me like the shop should be the ones in the hot seat and not Brembo.

Those pads look just fine... hardly a scratch on them--probably still good. Any sign of the attachment to the backing plate failing/lifting? Not sure if Brembo uses mechanical attachment on their pads or just adhesive--but this thread is almost an advertisement for Brembo pads--"Steel caliper bolts will fail before our pads do!"

Someone did do that to a couple of my rear studs. Last damn time I’ll let an auto shop take my wheels off. I fucked up and trusted a shop instead of just bringing the wheels in for a tire change. $250 later I had my dealer fix them. Bastards told me about one, and lied. I almost was believing I may have screwed up one myself, but two, doubt it.

I kinda want to see the paperwork drawn up for the lawsuit. lol
I don't know of any lawyer that would take this on a contingency basis...but there is probably no shortage of them willing to take his money...
