That's a very complicated story, better for it's own thread.

The short version is that the "owners", which had been non-existent for the vast majority of the site's existence, showed up and took it away from the Mods and forced changes on the membership that nobody wanted.

A lot happened in those couple of weeks.

I started a new forum, not realizing that this place already existed. That after talking directly with the owners at Vertical Scope (they weren't happy that I wasn't staying and was "encouraging" members to leave). Then I was told about this place and decided it wasn't worth the PITA for a new place, which would have further fractured the membership anyway. (This place turned out fantastic anyway).

Then they started the efforts to try to take us down here, and that just made it even worse for them. (word filters on their site to re-direct back to them and deleting posts they didn't like).

Frankly I'm both surprised and disappointed that they didn't collapse more than they did. Jerks...

How they define and treat "ownership", at least in the case of the previous forum, is completely jacked.

that's what I hear, time for a shorter s/c belt

since I was just replacing the bolts, had to move the firewall brace to get to the 1 bolt under it, other than that it was quick & easy to do.

FYI - actually if you're doing a 2.85 & 10mm spacers, it still uses the stock belt, I did.

FYI - actually if you're doing a 2.85 & 10mm spacers, it still uses the stock belt, I did.

I changed belts after adding the spacer and idler pulleys (slightly bigger) since it wasn't "centered"

About 15 minutes to remove windshield wipers, cowl & brace, the brace can be unbolted & just moved back a little to get to that 1 s/c bolt, doesn't have to be totally removed if just doing the bolts.
