I hear what you are saying and that was my thinking as well . Since breaking my driveshaft and researching them the critical speed issue has really come into play for me now .

I like that loop....could probably build one in an hour or 2...think I might just do that!

How does it bolt up? Trans cross member?

I dig the BMR but won't fit my 4" al DSS drive shaft.

Yes it just bolts to the cross member. Auto and manual versions are different due to the different cross members. I had to do some grinding on mine with the A8 due to the 4” DS but it was minor. The picture I used is with the T400 and obviously without the DS in place. There’s a lot more room with the yoke/u-joint setup I have now. EF6860F7-42E9-4E79-8C70-B6C76EE2BA2F.jpeg

I had the same DS loop on my 09. BMR makes one for the 15 & newer cars but you still use the factory crossmember.

Hey no joke!!! I would love to have something that is lighter. These steel things weigh like 50 lbs (jk). That’s the first thing I thought when I got that thing is.... damn this is HEAVY! Even something out of aluminum that that could shave a few lbs would be welcome.

Well folks im at a cross roads . I'm a bit irritated and leary about the 1 piece CCI driveshaft I have in the car . It starts to vibrate at 120 mph and my car is capable of 140+ in the 1/4 mile . It's just a matter of time before something breaks . So do I sell a kidney and get the mark Williams 2 piece or get the less expensive demon 2 piece .......
