The driveshaft situation in Hellcat world is a confounding one. The Redeye (as far as parts and pieces go) is a Demon minus a few particulars. It would be strange to think that the current production line version of the RE driveshaft would vary in any way from the some 3000+ so called Demon versions. For that matter... is it even conceivable that they would produce more than the one version for all Hellcats at this point? People continue to throw away stock drive shafts because the 2015 versions turned out to not be up to the task. That mistake has enriched the coffers of DSS and others substantially. The only advice I can give when it comes to parts choices is to make a honest evaluation of where you’re likely to go in the future. For you... I would go with the strongest most expensive MoFo in existence in there
I agree with most of this ( not the expensive part lol). As far as I can tell there are 3 different driveshafts for challengers
1- demon and redeye with factory 3.09 gears
1- hellcat and redeye with factory 2.62 gears
1- M6 cars
But this is only what I have read . I would love to check out a few different redeyes to confirm .
