I'm not as old as you are, but I'm no spring chicken and Crew Chief Greg is 11 years older than I am. I can say for sure I feel the concrete for several days after I work on the car anymore LOL. I think @DRAGRCR on this forum may be in the same ball park with you and may have some pointers.

I'm not trying to tell ya what to do, just offering perspective. In all the events I've attended I only know of one person with a paid crew who just sorta shows up and drives. Everybody else is just a group of friends.

I am always looking for ways to supplment MY racing budget. I made my bed and now have to sleep in it. So, I am always careful with my money. After having said all that I would help you if I were closer. Yes $20 hr or something like $200 a day would work.

I have helped a lot of friends over the years and some help with money and some don't. Odd Jobs like researching and traveling to verify a Demon for purchase, to resently, picking up a Trailer 2000 miles away etc. I really am a jack of all trades. I have been know to hit up the "Gigs" section of Craigslist and have made lunch money a few times.......

Everyone has their own idea of fun and how they want to race.
Just because I don't want to do things how you perceive how they should be done, doesn't mean that I'm not there to have a great time.
I would prefer to relate to someone else what I think and let them make the required changes for success.
I would also prefer to relax, socialize and watch the race rather than working on the car between rounds.

Other than checking tire pressure mine has needed very little between rounds. Maybe a splash of fuel. I drive mine to most events and it is definitely a chore to swap tires over and all that then swap back to head home. That a lone is worth the cost of a trailer.

My biggest problem is hearing when my class gets called honestly.

I like to pull data and have it analyzed between rounds. Make the required changes for weather and putting it on the Index.

Setting up the fans, changing ice, tire pressure and anything else that needs to be done.

Take less then 20 minutes to change tires. At least that is what it takes me .I break the lugs and tighten by hand but my Milwaukee M12 saves a lot of time getting them on and off:)

all 4. I also suggest having the zli jacking pads or something similar on the front. Saves time jacking the front on the car up over trying to look way under the car getting it lined up

You have a link?

There's little arrows on the bottom of the side skirts.

Thank you!
Ordered a pair for my Charger. Definitely needed!
When I bought my car from Silverbillet he had them and never installed them. After putting them on I wish I would have had them on my Daytona.

I like jacking the car up by the frame and before having the jacking pads I always try to line up the jack. The front pads make the front as easy as the back with the factory ones

These are the one's I have and they have others and some for Challengers too

https://zl1addons.com/collections/charger-2011-2018/products/charger-lift-pads
I noticed that they have splitters.

Wondering if they will work with a heat exchanger?

He told me that he misses the car.

It is in a good home:)
He's a couple of hours from me. Maybe we'll meet when I'm running at Bradenton?

He seems like good people. He's over in The Villages, hotbed of seniors playtime...
